Immunity Building Chicken Soup

At the time of me writing this blog, we are in the midst of a worldwide Corona virus pandemic


So it would seem fitting to share this recipe which was donated to me by one of my clients


This is an amazing immunity building soup which is packed with nutrients


Here’s the ingredients and how you make it:

-2-3 carrots diced.
-1 leek sliced.
-Diced celery about the same amount as the carrot.
-A few garlic cloves (i used 6).
-Generous amount of grated fresh ginger.
-Finely chop the stems of a bunch of parsley.
-Some oil & saute for 5 mins. Add 6-8 cups chicken stock and approx 500g of chicken thigh.
-1 teaspoon of turmeric.
-Boil until chicken cooked through.
-Take chicken out and shred and add back and stir through chopped parsley leaves (most of the bunch).
-Serve.
